TI Food and Nutrition Publications

Making TI Food and Nutrition’s work and its outcomes public is essential to the strategy and scientific success of our organization. It keeps partners, government, society and the press - scientific and industrial - up to date on developments within our collaborations. It also demonstrates the importance of scientific breakthroughs generated by our scientists.

Top publications
TI Food and Nutrition distributes the quarterly news letter In Touch, an annual report and regular news releases for national and international press. Publishing, on average, 125 papers in peer-reviewed specialised journals annually, TI Food and Nutrition employs over 50 PhD students working on agreed theses topics. In 2009, almost 25% of our publications in peer-reviewed journals were placed in the top 10 per cent in their respective fields. TI Food and Nutrition scientists are regularly invited to give lectures and prepare scientific abstracts and posters for congresses.

Approval procedure
We have developed an approval procedure for publications that takes into account the interests of both scientific and industry partners enabling, when appropriate, early stage publication and/or patent filing.
