Discussing future research

TI Food and Nutrition regularly organises conferences and symposia to initiate discussion on current issues and future research. These events highlight the importance of our research, contribute to the scientific excellence and industrial relevance of our work and reinforce our national and international collaborations.

Bringing together science and industry
Major events include the Annual Conference, the Food Summit and the Food and Nutrition Day. The Annual Conference is targeted primarily at the partners in our collaboration and hosts the awards of TI Food and Nutrition’s Patent and Publication Prizes. The Food Summit allows food science and technology experts to discuss research in specific areas. The Food and Nutrition Day is organised every two years by Food & Nutrition Delta together with TI Food and Nutrition to inform food companies about the latest developments in research areas. Also, some of the PhD students who defend their theses host symposia on their specific lines of research.
