Turning policy into reality
Agentschap NL is an agency of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Sustainable development and innovation is promoted, both within the Netherlands and abroad. The aim is to achieve tangible results that have a positive effect on the economy and on society as a whole.
The core competence is converting government policy into reality. On behalf of the Dutch government Agentschap NL implements policy regarding:
· Innovation
· Energy and Climate Change
· Environment and Spatial Planning
Agentschap NL also works on behalf of international organisations such as the European Union, the International Energy Agency (IEA) and foreign governments. Therefore, these organisations gain access to a broad Dutch network of knowledge institutes, research centres, trade associations, companies and government officials. Furthermore, Agentschap NL participates in numerous international platforms and counselling groups.
With the knowledge and experience gained in the Netherlands and abroad, help for SME and their specific project(s) is given. In addition, a wide spectrum of products and services is being offered that can be used by the government in public-private partnerships. From developing and disseminating knowledge, to monitoring and developing policy instruments and to managing subsidy schemes. Agentschap NL acts as a full partner, e.g. as program manager, participant or program adviser. Help is offered to convert business policy into reality.
