As an alliance between industry and knowledge institutes, we carry out strategic, fundamental research of industrial relevance with high-scientific quality, thereby contributing to the long-term commercial advantage of the Dutch food industry.
This is realized through communication with industrial partners and by keeping an open window to scientific developments, both nationally and internationally. Where relevant and useful, our researchers are involved in Dutch and EU research activities. This participation in non-TI Food and Nutrition projects enables them to discuss research topics with fellow researchers and to broaden their scope, which will contribute to better research and developing new ideas. Furthermore, our partners can benefit from the extended network of researchers.
