Three TiFN projects were delayed for several months due to the Covid-19 measures. The industrial project partners and co-funder TKI Agri & Food have made it possible to extend the duration of the projects with an additional financial contribution.

Due to the Covid-19 measures, no measurements could be performed on test subjects in the projects from March to the beginning of May. As a result, part of the work within the projects came to a halt and a number of PhD trajectories were delayed. After consultation with co-funder TKI Agri & Food and the industrial partners, it was agreed to extend the contracts with the PhDs for a number of months so that the projects can deliver the promised results.
