Second edition TiFN Retreat on September 11

With great pleasure we invite all project leaders, team members, experts and staff to the second TiFN Retreat. We have done our best to make an exciting programme for all participants. In the morning you will learn about current TiFN research based on public information from the projects. In the afternoon we want to tell you about some important aspects of TiFN’s ways of working and there will be an open debate about the pro’s and con’s of societal impact through scientific research. To top off the day we have invited an inspiring speaker.

Rogier Schulte is chair holder of the Farming System Ecology group of Wageningen University and Research. As former Leader of Translational Research on Sustainable Food Production in TEAGASC, Rogier Schulte worked on the interface between agricultural research and environmental policy at national and international level. He has a PhD in Production Ecology and Resource Conservation from Wageningen University and over 15 years’ experience in research on agricultural sustainability.
Erik Schoppen is an expert in the field of trust, leadership, innovation, brand management, social & consumer neuroscience, psychology and sustainable behaviour. Erik is co-founder of MIAZO, an agency for brand & consumer research, strategy, language and design. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen, Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences.
