Symposium: Towards healthy and environmentally sustainable diets for European consumers
On January 8th, 2020 Elly Mertens will defend her PhD thesis “Towards healthy and environmentally sustainable diets for European consumers”. To celebrate the completion of this part of the SHARP-BASIC project, Wageningen University and TiFN have organised a scientific symposium prior to the defence. Four speakers will present their view on the different challenges in the transition to healthy and environmentally sustainable diets for European consumers. What are the synergies and trade-offs between them, what can be done already and what requires further research?
