Agro Business Park 826708 PW WageningenThe Netherlands TiFN is a public-private partnership for multi- and interdisciplinary research in food and nutrition. In its systems approach scientists with different backgrounds closely collaborate, with many links between fundamental, applied and valorisation research projects. The needs of multinationals, SMEs and start-ups are addressed, and the natural, economic, social and consumer sciences work closely together in integrated projects. This systems approach is combined with our TiFN heritage of programming led by demands from business and society, and result-oriented project planning, execution and management. Programmes are funded by both private and public sources, the latter using funding schemes deployed by the Topsector Agri & Food and others. The board comprises eight representatives from both industry and research organisations involved in TiFN Challenges.
